The problem with an 11 generation pedigree chart is that there are too many people to show on a single page. Thus with each generation doubling you get the following: 1. 1 2. 2. 3. 4 4. 8 5. 16 6. 32 7. 64 8. 128 9. 256 10. 512 11. 1024 It is impossible to show 2047 people on a single page (the sum of all the numbers above). Usually what happens is that you have perhaps a single line that has 11 generations and the actual number of people you want to show is much less. What I have done before is use a graphics program to draw diagrams of certain family structures and include them as a graphic in my Word Processor as a page in the book. It does require manual effort and takes time, but you can get things looking the way you want with only showing the people you want.
