    3. Hi Ian, Have you tried www.mapquest.com? Here's a map of part of Brazil. You can copy and paste this in the address line. Once you get the map, you can click on the arrows on the top, bottom or sides to show more on the North, South, East or West. Hope that this helps you. (the three lines are all one address). http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?location=AEa1NHWcOcBs2LSeXitOdrhQeNH6yg%2fCFU%2b6iNthCqyyS326w3N1Eo11sIQnWBp2iSG%2bhSE0NR4%3d&address=&city=Brasila&state=&country=BR&addtohistory=&submit=Get%20Map Vic ****************************************************************** >From: "Ian Westergaard" <ian.westergaard@ihug.co.nz> >Reply-To: CFT-WIN-L@rootsweb.com >To: CFT-WIN-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [CFTW] Map of Brazil >Date: Tue, 2 Mar 2004 07:41:25 +1300 > >I know that this is off topic but I think there is a Brazilian subscriber >to >this list who might be able to help me. > >I am translating the 1850 diary (from Danish) of my gg uncle. > >He is in Brazil, first at Bahia and then Maceio and finally Rio de Janeiro >before moving on to Valparaiso. > >The diary mentions many small towns which I can't find in my atlas.
