Hi, Gang-- I've got a very stupid problem here, but then I'm a very stupid fellow. So: all's right with the world. Here's the way it stacks up. I have both Versions 2.50x (actually 2.29x) and 3.14 d installed on my computer. A few days ago, I decided to go ahead and uninstall Version 2.50x, but when I clicked on ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS on the Control Panel, I found the following program descriptions: Cumberland Family Tree Cumerbland Family Tree [32-bit] Since both programs are 32-bit, I don't know which program is which. Naturally, I'm not looking to send 3.14 d into the nexus between Now and Never. Can anyone please tell me which of these program descriptions I should click on in order to uninstall Version 2.50x? Or should I just call "discretion the better part of valor" in this situation and leave both programs alone? I tell you. My mother finds it awfully hard to be proud of her oldest these days. Walt, I looked at the properties for both programs - I'm in the same position, of wanting to uninstall the old version - and found that the 2.5 version lists itself as cftw32, and the new one doesn't. I assume that means the 32-bit version is the old one - but I'm waiting for someone else to confirm that before I remove anything! Don't worry; if you are stupid, then I'd better join the club :-) Carolyn walterboswell wrote: >Hi, Gang-- > >I've got a very stupid problem here, but then I'm a very stupid fellow.
