    3. I don't think we can say it is nothing to do with this list when a posting made to the list is not delivered. And we can't assume that others are not affected, when anyone affected would be unable to tell us, unless they knew enough to find a workaround. I wouldn't criticise someone for attempting to diagnose the technical cause of their own problem. We might also remember that the posting that didn't get through originally was not a complaint, but a contribution to an existing thread. I agree that this should have been taken off-list earlier, when the list-owner undertook to discuss it with RootsWeb. What has kept it going on the list is one intervention which addressed the problem and two which didn't (make that three, now, with this message). 1. [CFTW] END OF DISCUSSION ! (Was: Strange mail server setup)
    2. CFT-WIN List Manager
    3. If any subscriber is having problems posting and/or receiving List email, he/she should contact the List Manager, which in this case, happens to be me. Such complaints should NOT be sent to the entire List. If anyone does not know the address of the List Manager, all he/she has to do is look at the bottom of the posts for instructions. Technical problems with a List do not USUALLY concern all the List subscribers. "One-of-a-kind" problems of ONE user certainly do not belong here. If several users were to email me privately with the SAME problem, then "I" would bring up the subject on the List to see if others were having the same type of problem.
