If a person has only ONE set of parents then nothing will be displayed. If a person has more than one set of parents then a B indicates birth parents AND the fact that this person has more than one set of parents. A rebuild can make this go away if there was some sort of corruption in the database. As for the second problem, if it is still a problem maybe you can email the database to me. I can take a look and probably be able to see right away what the problem is. That might be better than guessing. I notice on some of my listing of children there is a "B". Why? How did I managed to put it there? How do I get rid of it? Second problem. I have two databases set up. One joint one for the wife's & my family and a separate one for my family. On the name listings on my family database, the birth and death dates are shown also. On the joint database the birth and death dates are not shown, which makes it difficult to identify the correct John Smith or Mary Jones. How can I get the birth and dates to show up on the name listing? Thanks for your help, Vic ==== CFT-WIN Mailing List ==== You can contact the List Manager at: CFT-WIN-admin@rootsweb.com
