The TARGET=_top does exactly what I wanted - it was in my reference book too, I just hadn't found it. Editing all my fam000xx pages is not a real problem, it's only a small database and I've edited each page a few times already - once more won't kill me! Mr. Alan. I am interested. Did you really rename all the fam000xxx files. I addede a search engine to my page and it returns at searching a name all the indexes and pages where the searched-for name is includde , which is not elegant.
