    3. Dear Ira and all, In the placename editor there is an option to provide latitude and longitude information. Apart from having the information if available, is there any present or future use far this option; for example plotting information on a map??? If so, what has to be the proper format; Example Drachten decimal: longitude 6.105 latitude 53.111 OR DMS longitude 53° 6' 0 N latitude 6° 5' 60 N? Greetings from Drachten (Netherlands), Kees Mollema. Email: mailto:[email protected] Homepage: http://members1.chello.nl/~c.mollema Genealogie: http: http://members1.chello.nl/~c.mollema/genealog

At the time I thought it was a good idea and so I placed hte fields there - and that was as far as I got. So many other more fundamental things for a genealogy program came up - bugs and reports and other more pressing features that I have never gotten any further on ideas or plans for these fields. Currently there are not even any reports that will print thiese out - or even the place notes. So for now all they are are little references to help one when viewing the places int he Note Editor.
