    1. AW: [CFTW] CFT-Win Virus?
    2. Harvey Nimmo
    3. I think there is very little chance that there is a virus in the downloaded CFTW, bearing in mind many different anti-Virus programms (including mine) are not reporting a problem. Therefore, perhaps, here is a case of a false alarm, to which most virus checkers are susceptible at some time or other and there is therefore nothing to worry about (not even about the virus checker, which after all is erring on the safe side!!!). Greetings Harvey Nimmo >I think we visited the virus question once before. I feel quite certain CFT >has no virus but this guy is convinced that his has. My virus software does >not report problems. What do you tell a guy like this? > >Ira

    2. I didn't see anyone reporting checks specifically with McAfee so fwiw I also run regular scans with up to update definition files. Most recent definitions and scans of yesterday. No virus found on system, including cftw 3.07, scanning all files. cheers David Voss in a grey, chilly Auckland New Zealand Date forwarded: Sat, 7 Jul 2001 10:19:04 -0600 From: [email protected] (Harvey Nimmo) Subject: AW: [CFTW] CFT-Win Virus? <snip> > I think there is very little chance that there is a virus in the downloaded > CFTW, bearing in mind many different anti-Virus programms (including mine) > are not reporting a problem.
