I have been running 3.07 for about a month now with no problems. I just checked it again with Norton AV and it is all clear. I have Norton anti Virus and I update it at least weekly and it is set to scan all of my files weekly, it checks email as it comes in and checks downloads and it has indicated no virus in any cft file. I have downloaded and installed Ver 3.07 but when I click on Help/About Cumberland Family Tree it says it is Ver 3.06. I seem to remember that this came up once before. Does the current 3.07 upgrade nowshow as 3.07? I don't think I will download it just to make that change. Ed Blakeley
I have been using cft since 1998, cft-win 3, simultaneously with the most current version of Norton anti virus (now currently with 2001). I always upgrade my definitions on a weekly basis and run regular scans. I have NEVER had a virus warning from any download from cft, or any cft product! Although, I have had Email warnings of viruses from unrelated sources, I have always taken the suggested warnings from Norton and have always enjoyed a virus free computer. I have the utmost confidence in (1) Norton Anti virus and (2) cft.software.
