    3. Ira: I have been reading about the new OneWorldTree service being built at Ancestry.Com (read that, "MyFamily.Com") and discovered that Ancestry is offering a genealogy database program, "Ancestry Family Tree" (AFT). It's free, but is tied into this new endeavor, the "OneWorldTree" service. I downloaded and installed it. Looks to me as it is a near clone of CFTW! Just without the user-friendly interface and all the "goodies" that CFTW has. The kicker with this "new" program is that it's tied to Ancestry via the Internet, and a user can submit his database to Ancestry with the click of a button. The folks at MyFamily have surely hired some very sharp marketing and programming people. They continue to find new ways to make money for the company. I only wish I knew WHO really owned it. It's based in Salt Lake City, and has just about cornered the market on computer genealogy database programs, yours being one of the very, very few exceptions; plus, it seems to have absorbed just about all the more popular genealogy websites, . Maybe they thought it easier to just "copy" your program rather than "buy" it. Heck, they control PAF, FTM, etc., etc. Methinks that if we're not careful, there will be only one company in the world that produces genealogy programs and has genealogy web sites for our use. ?????
