Hello Mike, As regards the CHAN tag, that is one that aggravates me more than probably any other tag. I receive GEDCOMS where there is a CHAN tag for EVERY INDIVIDUAL in them. May I ask why anyone wants that worthless, to me, info for EVERY person in the database? Maybe I'm missing something, but who really cares when the file was "changed"? That information will be useful to probably no more than .0001% of users. Clue me in if I'm missing something here.
