In my Descendant list (style2) report (ver3.06) selecting special, my reports show both birth and death dates in brackets with marriage date outside the brackets. Looks fine to me, although while on this report, I personally prefer solid lines rather than broken lines, like those shown on the Descendant tab in the main window. I have also received similar reports from PAF users, and these do look very smart. Is there a reason for this difference? Yes, that's exactly what I am getting too. (bd - dd ) marriage date Mike At 10:25 06/06/01 +1200, you wrote: >In my Descendant list (style2) report (ver3.06) selecting special, my >reports show both birth and death dates in brackets with marriage date >outside the brackets. Well, troops, at the risk of being non-conformist, I studied that format quizzically when I first saw it, then decided that it was a logical representation of the parenthetical offering of birth/death date and then progressing to reading of the un-enclosed "married ddmmmyyyy" which segues very nicely to the name of the person married to on the next line. Really, I'm not an agitator. Regards to all, Floyd [SNIP] > Subject: RE: [CFTW] Re:Decendant list [style2] > > > Yes, that's exactly what I am getting too. > (bd - dd ) marriage date [SNIP]
