This allows me to select where I want to place my backup file and exe. the backup procedure. Amen. This may be a reason why my IMAGE DIR shows a file other than the one I want to backup. I found in the Config. file that the name for the data base is other that the one I was asking for...... I changed it to what it should have beeen and now everything works. I don't know how that would have gotten changed, because all of my other databases have the right file defined Thanks for the interest in helping me Jens . Bob Tigges
