Check that you only have HIGH colour and not true colour Run Scandisk from inside windows You can easily do that from explorer by selecting propertys of C and then the second tab, tools (I think its called that in english) the run a "simple" and repair all errors. After that do a defrag which may take some time. Check what other programs are started behind the scene with the program msconfig START RUN msconfig <ENTER> Check the tab autostart for strange things ... Check that you have windows handeling your virtual memory This computer, propertys The rightmost tab Virtaul memory Should be handled by windows BTW I hopy you have windows 95 OSR2 as that version contain some fixes ... Better might be to go to win98 SE, Windows ME wouldnt be to good with only 48MB There are some really strange things that may happen in windows 95 that are fixed in 98!
