I assume you are speaking of the main Family Group window and the columns there. There is a "bug" there that I have looked at a couple of times. It does not show up in English. It has to do with the length of words in the column heading. I have seen in some languages where the word for Birth or Death is long, that it will not retain the column widths. I have messed with it for some time and can do nothing. I think it is related to the programming language I have and a bug in it - which I cannot solve. The only solution is to shorten the foreign word for "Birth" and "Death" - I think specifically the death. I cannot recall the maximum length but experiment with it and you will find it.
