The first thing I question is whether you have the generation number set high enough to carry on to the next generation. The report stops at the set generation number regardless of other conditions. Then there are some internal checks the program does to decide whether to continue the story of a given person. Checks include things like, is there a spouse? is there some data in the note field - basically the question asked: is there more info on this person that gets shown simply as a child here. if yes then that person's story should be shown seperately. Not saying that there may not be a bug. I would have to really dig deeper into this to verify the exact reason why an event note might cause the person not to be continued with a story of their own.
