    3. I use McAfee v5.15 and keep it updated daily. When I installed 3.06 there were no viruses. I just ran McAfee on EVERY file on my system (over 13 Gb of files) and it detected no infections. Would the person who wrote the original message about CFTW carrying a virus please notify this List what your AV program called the "virus". I had to identify it for you. You say you "downloaded CFT-Win...from a computer in my office". Did you download it from the web TO the computer in your office? Or did you download it at home FROM the computer in your office? How do you know it had already "infected some files"? What were those files? Were they files that came with CFTW? Some AV programs, Norton and McAfee included, did give "false positives" for certain Windows files. McAfee fixed their program but I don't know if Norton did or not. Please, when sending this type of email, especially when it is alarming to so many, give all the pertinent details. Nothing can be checked if you are vague. Since many of us have down loaded and installed 3.06 with no problems and with our AV programs NOT detecting anything, and since it seems to be peculiar to your system, I really doubt that the downloaded file was infected. We need to know more in order to dig into it. Thanks, George W. 3. Ira, Do I remember rightly that you had a GEDCOM/HTML generator for a while in your program which generated a tree format for the data? I believe you decided to ditch it in favour of your integrated Web page generator. What was the name of the program? Where might I get a copy? Greetings Harvey Nimmo

I was the one who posted the message. I received the notification from someone who I think was not on the list - ans so I posted it to verify that there was no problem. I did not believe there was but I didn't want to take any chances. Ira ------------------------------------------------ Mr. Ira J.
