Greetings everyone, I'm still using version 2.32x for windows 95. I had not done much with my data for several years but this past month I have been working on it a lot. I have been reluctant to upgrade because I prefer to enter blanks in my reports, such as the story report. This allows family members to see just which information is lacking and also gives them the opportunity to suppply some of it. I use "_______?" for a missing name (first last and middle), "_____ / _____ Co / St __ / Country _________" for a missing place, "site _______________" for a missing misc, and "__-___-____" for missing dates. I am afraid I will lose the blanks "__-___-____" for filling in the dates if I upgrade. Is there any way I can upgrade and retain all these blanks -- especially the blanks for dates?
