Ira, I think I figured it out this morning. Last week, I started to do a merge, and then was distracted. I think the file I sent you was the new file ready to be the final file of the merge. I am sorry for the false alarm, but I think my data is intact in the pre-merge version. Sharing this with the group in case someone else out there ever has this happen. I could see no one attached to others in the database and it would be a manual effort to re-attach everyone. Some corruption has gotten into the database. If you have a previous version that is fine, it would be best to go back and use it. You will have to re-enter people to get back to where you were. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
