Thanks all, I started using the census event after I purchased GenSmarts, because it looks for census data. But I still need to add the source data. This is how the webpage output for my gg-grandfather looks: Husband: Thomas L. But there is also a Census Event. I sometimes do add a Census Event and enter the year of the census as the date and the place or location the person was living at time of census. This can be helpful sometimes when looking at all events in a persons life and seeing where they have lived every ten years. But when I do that I actually also attach the census source as Les has explained to the census event. Ira ------------------------------------------------ Mr. Ira J.
