Hi There, This is my first post and I am looking for some advice. I have a number of databases that I recovered after a hard drive failure and I would like to reinstate them. The trouble is, they seem to have no files except 5 *.tps and 1 *.ini file in each database and will not open. Any ideas would be welcome. Theo Perry
The files mentioned are CFT database files for CFT Ver 2. If you download the older ver 2 from my web site and install that program. Then you need to create a folder inside the program folder and copy the .tps and .ini files to that folder. For example, if CFT gets installed to c:\cftw then create a folder such as Perry inside that (c:\cftw\perry). Now when you run the program it will list PERRY as a database and you should be able to open it. If still problems write back.
