Well, my recent Yuba and Sutter county research has been very effective; the several groups were helpful and have no problem correcting and instructing. Good luck! If you have specific questions regarding what type of records you are most interested, let me or the rest of the group give our best shot. PS: I still have information available (from a recent posting) regarding Stanley Powell. The California room at the Marysville library has a wonderful collection.? Call ahead for hours as the last I heard hours are cut back due to money crunch.? The Yuba Co.Recorders office is a treasure trove.? It's located out side of down town. The court house is down town but records have been moved outside of there to the location I spoke of.? I can't remember the name of street....Take a lunch.? No restaurants nearby.. Good luck Barbara. -----Original Message----- From: Shepard Steve C Ctr 9 IS/SCB <Steve.Shepard.Ctr@beale.af.mil> To: cayuba@rootsweb.com Sent: Mon, 14 Jan 2008 8:49 am Subject: Re: [CAYUBA] Research Trip Well, my recent Yuba and Sutter county research has been very effective; the several groups were helpful and have no problem correcting and instructing.
