Her Sister Sarah Married my Great Great Grand Father and on their grave stone is her full name Sarah A. Vine. b. Apr 19. 1822 - d. Aug 22 1855. William Norton Adams born in Egypt, Monroe, NY and married Mary Ann Vine about Sep 22, 1841, most likely in Alden, Erie, NY. I have a letter from her to her sister Sarah 4-30-1856 while she was in Alden NY. I also have another letter from her dated 10-23-1864 from Lone Valley to her BYE nieces. (I am assuming that Lone Valley is in California) Another letter is from Lorenzo D. Adams on 2-10-1885 form Sheridan, Placer County, California. It states that Mary Ann Vine Adams passed away on Thanksgiving Day in 1884. She had been hurt when she fell while getting out of a wagon. On Elizabeth Vine Bishop's 1900 United States Federal Census is says she (and the Vine family) Arrived in in the US in 1838. No where is the name Chase connected to the Vine family in any of the letters I have or records I have seen. ------------------------------------------------------------ Additional information: The family Is listed on the Mormon site as William Vine and Mary Morgan.
