Finally got a hand free, and looked some basic information up for the Traylor's. First, the city of Marysville library has a very helpful "California Room". They had Mr Traylor's date of obituary already on file: Appeal-Democrat, Wednesday, March 8, 1950, page 2 "John Traylor, 48, Dies In Hospital Jerry Traylor, 48, resident of 927 11 St, Marysville, died yesterday in a local hospital after an illness of one month. Traylor, who was a lumberman, had lived in this area for the past two years. He was a native of Louisiana. He is survived by a son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Miss Ann Traylor, both of Marysville. Funeral servies will be conducted in the chapel at Sierra View Memorial part at 10 a.m., Saturday, it is announced by the Jarvis Funeral home." Consulting the Yuba County property information, the address is a trailer park; there are dates recorded for his residence in Marysville. Also, he was not listed in either the 1946 or 1947 phone books. I hope this is helpful for your research. steve -----Original Message----- From: cayuba-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:cayuba-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2008 11:12 AM To: CAYUBA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [CAYUBA] TRAYNOR, John (Jack?) and Georgia This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. From my research I see that a John TRAYNOR died in Yuba 7 Aug 1947, and Georgia TRAYNOR died 27 Oct 1978 Yuba Sutter. Are these the same people that are on the Los Angeles 1930 Census, with Georgiana's daughter Delores PRATT? Also Jack/John was a Locksmith in 1930. I'm hoping that there is someone that is still around who might know of these people. Thank you for taking time to read this... Thank you so much! This is great, it proves that this isn't the "Jack" Traylor that I'm looking for. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shepard, Steve C CTR USAF ACC 9 IS/SCB" <Steve.Shepard.Ctr@beale.af.mil> To: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com>; <cayuba@rootsweb.com>; <CAYUBA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, March 14, 2008 8:55 AM Subject: Re: [CAYUBA] TRAYNOR, John (Jack?) and Georgia > Finally got a hand free, and looked some basic information up for the > Traylor's. > > First, the city of Marysville library has a very helpful "California > Room".
