Appeal 2-19-1897. 31 Jul 1888 the Appeal quotes item from Grass Valley Tidings, praising Sexey as an effective leader of the Anti- Debris Assoc. An obit quoted from paper in Oban, Scotland, where Sexey died 7-28-1888, Native of England, Age 68, Buried in Penyfrier Cemetary. Appeal 14 Aug 1888 Reference to a new building which he will build on D. St. Appeal 19 Jun 1863, sold brick store on the east side of D St to Terstegget Lumber. Resigns as Pres. Anti Debris Assoc, Board of Supervisors refused resignation, gives poor health as reason , Appeal 3 May 1887, Leaves for a years trip to Europe on 2 May 1888. His remains arrive from Scotland, The remains of Mrs Sexey in Marysville Catholic cemetary will be transferred to S.F. to be buried besides those of Mr. Sexey in S.F.Catholic cementary. (Oakland?) Appeal 10 12 1897. Mrs Jane E. Sexey estate, 2 heirs come to Msvl. to look after their interest in the estate. A text of family history given in the article. Appeal 28 Jan 1898. Final account of executor filed 5 Mar 1898. Jane Sexey estate distribution made, Total of $101,000, attorney, heirs, & executor fee given, family history revieved 20 Mar 1898, Obit Jane Sexey, death in S.F., native of Ireland, age 65, wife of C.E. Sexey, deceased. History of Family, Appeal 1 Sep 1896.Funeral noted for Jane Sexey, Brother & sister live in Ireland, estate value $75,000, the will quoted 4 Sept 1896, Appeal 1 Sep 1896.
