My ancestor was Balthazar Wirrig who was born in Seingbouse, France in 1809. He is listed in the 1850 census for Bowling Green Township, Yuba County, California on page 260 as Baltsar Warrick. He went to California during the gold rush and returned, soon after 1850, back to his family in Ohio. Kent Myers
