just a note to say that i am a grandaughter of william oney smith & elizabeth warren. william was from monroe co,ms.they returned there in 1909.and are buried in the cockerham cemetery in the grubb springs community,monroe co,ms. william warren was the son of william warren,sr.and elizabeth richerson. elizabeth richerson married 2nd to george nye.about the time william warren was discharged.we wonder what happened to william warren,sr.elizabeth richerson warren nye was the daughter of allison coates richerson born in n.y. in 1812.and martha thompson of ohio.he went overland to california.fought the mormans in navoo,ill.and was injured in the leg. i will be happy to exchange info with anyone connected.and would like the bio.sketch carol harrison mentiond. thank you. jean smith carr
