I spoke with my mom and she remembers the families getting together, at her parents in Red Bluff. Then they stopped coming, she remembers asked her mom about the visits stopping and she said something about them being the poor family and the others were rich. I really cannot answer your question, sorry I Just spoke with Gen Burrichter, Bud's wife he will be 89 in Oct. He is not doing will, hard of hearing, bed ridden, and he memory is failing. My mom just turned 85 ij July, she is well, her memory is still pretty good, she is the youngest in her family.
