Powell (b. 1885 in Mich.- d. unknown) and Elsie/Alsia Kielihofe (b. Abt 1888 in Colorado- d. unknown) Ray and Elsie/Alsia also had a daughter by the name of Verda, b. Abt 1911 in Calif. Stanley would be a 4th cousin, once removed to me; and a 4 X great grandson of Alexander NEGLEY of Pittsburgh. Stanley's family had moved from Ohio and Indiana to California sometime before 1918. Did Stanley ever marry and have children? IF so, what were their names? Willing to share information.

October 28, 1998 Appeal-Democrat Stanley Walter Powell, 80, of Marysville died Oct. 16, 1998, at Fremont Medical Center. Born in Truckee, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for many years. He worked in heavy construction and was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 3. He attended Truckee area schools and was a member of the Truckee Ski Club, Historical Society and Fire Department. He was a member of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. Survivors include a daughter and a sister, Verda Rhea Maxsom of Carson City, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Powell. Services: A memorial gathering will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home of Alive and Cathy Roberts, 423 S. Roberta Way, Marysville.
