    3. Howdy Listers, I am curious if anyone knows what happened to J.B. ROHR, who was charged with the murder of Dennis DUFFICY in 1874 in Marysville, Ca. Below is an excerpt of the paper which contained the inquest (too long to include on this email) and the charges made against Rohr. If anyone is familiar with this case, or willing to look it up for me, I would appreciate hearing from you! INQUEST ON THE BODY OF DENNIS DUFFICY - THE VERDICT This story was too long to include, but if anyone is interested, I will gladly send a copy at your request. -- Names included in the testimony are: Coroner BARNES, Dr. C. C. HARRINGTON, Dr. A. MCMAHON, David KERTCHEM, John ROHR, John PFEIFFER, and John GEARY. -- In addition, the following individuals were listed as jurors: T. J. SHERWOOD, S. BLODGETT, C. H. BUSHNELL, A. P. WILLEY, P. C. SLATTERY, C. BROOK, and Theodore BOON. ____________ II. ADMITTED TO BAIL - Yesterday, J. B. Rohr, charged with the murder of Dennis Dufficy, was admitted to bail by Mayor Hawley, in the sum of $5,000, with J. B. Rohr, H, Wagner, John Pfeiffer and John Rohr as sureties. These bonds hold the defendant to appear for examination tomorrow morning at the City Hall. ____________ III. CHARGED WITH MURDER - On the arrest of J. B. Rohr, on Saturday, a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon was entered against him. Yesterday morning, District Attorney, Davis filed a complaint against the prisoner charging him with murder.
