Born Jan. 20, 1935, and a native of Woodland, Mrs. Van Zee had been a Yuba-Sutter area resident for 38 years. She worked for Marysville plumbing as retail clerk for three years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Marysville. Survivors include her daughter, Lori Edmonson of Oakley; sons, Jerry and Stanley Van Zee, both of Woodland; sister, Beverly Hart of Modesto; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society, 618 5th St., Marysville, 95901. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp & Sullivan of Marysville. Services: A chapel service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel, Marysville, with Rev. Robert Copsey of St. Joseph's Church of Marysville officiating.
