Born in Nebraska, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 47 years. He worked as a construction laborer, contractor and horse trader. He was a member of Laborers Local 185 Union. Survivors include three daughters, Winefred E. Taylor of Mendicino, LaDona Field of Lively, Va., and Renae Franko of Turpin, Okla.; two sons, Ronald L. "Rocky" Earnest Taylor of Yuba City and Marvin V. "Tommy" Taylor Jr. of Sacramento; three brothers, Dean Taylor of Colorado and Dean Taylor, both of Colorado, and Ronald L. Barnes of Texas; a sister, Eleanor Christianson of Stockton; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Taylor. Services: A graveside service is set at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sierra View Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst. I have no connection to this person.
