He was brought west from Nebraska by his guardian(guardian's name was Moon). This was after 1892. James would have a birthdate of about 1875/76. His father was Major James W.Stinchcomb who died in Nebraska, and who is buried in Adams county,Nebraska at Kenesaw cem. He is the youngest son of his father. He had three brothers and one sister.
