Hello all. I am new to this list and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who does obituary or death certificate lookups for Yuba County deaths. I am looking for info on an infant who was born and died in Yuba County. Most likely in Marysville. I am most interested in the parents names and maybe the cause of death. Ell Johnson Snow b & d 2/24/1942 I hope someone can help. Thanks, CSnow
I will be glad to do an obit lookup the next time I go to Marysville and will do the lookups anyone else has requested in the past few days. I print out the request and take it with me to the library. Carole Harrison
I will do lookups when I go to Marysville. Since I live about 25 miles I only go when I have alot of errands to run. Right now I am in the process of weeding my 1 acre garden. We live in a fire area and I like to keep the grass and brush cleaned up, also my husband died last November so I now have to do it by myself, it is a big job, but its been so nice outside I love the sunshine. I am also very pleased when all the flowers are in bloom, and now there are quite a few and more to come. I will get any obits, etc that is available to print, just let me know what you want after I have sent the info and the next time I am in town I will get them. Have a good weekend, Carole in beautiful California.

Hi I didn't find very much on the list that you sent. Most of the addresses were in Sacramento Co.& Placer Co. Our library doesn"t cover those counties. But this is what I found John Paul SOHRAKOFF: OBIT 22 Aug 1953, Age 97 years, resident of Wheatland and native of Germany. A James SOHRAKOFF signs letter on 4 Mar 1957 for young farmer, Page 271 Council Meeting. This is all the information I could find. The book you mentioned I couldn't locate as the library doesn't have very much on genealogy.. Sorry there wasn't more....Carole Harrison
