    1. [CAYUBA] Yuba County Registers of Birth
    2. Carolyn Rodosta
    3. When the Family History Center filmed Vol. O (1858-1873) they skipped the page covering "D". I am looking for the birth of Oresta or Mary Davis. There are no pertinent DAVIS individuals in the 1873-1895 records. Are these records readily available to one of you? It was 1995 when I looked for them in Salt Lake City family history center. Thank you in advance, Care

Parks Bar was a township in Yuba county and a mining area about 15 miles from Marysville. All that remains is one old house along the Yuba river.Very poor records for these counties were ever kept. Try the other counties you may get lucky. I will see if i can locate any other info. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My GGF, Francis Marion COurtright (aka Frank), had a step sister, Rebecca Gray (sometimes enumerated as Courtright. She was born in MO, but when her mom (Mary Jane Strong Gray) married his dad (Jackson Courtwright), they traveled from MO to IA to NE and from there onto ID. Somewhere in the Great "Aunt Becky" married a Fout. Eventually she remarried but I do not know what happened to her first husband...and I am trying to fit in missing info. I know her next husband was Jake Myer. I am not sure of this "Fouts" first name and I do not know where he came from. On the other hand, this Jackson Courtwright may have been originally from Kentucky and then Indiana. It is also possible that his father's name was John COurtwright but I am still uncertain. Has the Courtwright/Courtright name crossed your research lines anywhere? If so please rsvp. I am seriously in need of any help you can provide! Thank you, Lisa ! I.
