We definitely have the same ancestor. My great grandfather was Charles B Cavill (1891-1981c). He is the son of John Cavill and Emily Rich and had many siblings. My great-grandfather lived in Reading and then London. As i grew up i was led to believe he was of Scottish blood (but had no Scottish accent) but when researching my tree a few years ago, it appears his family were from Devon.
