[email protected] Hi Peter, I noticed that you have an interest in the Cavells of Deal (Kent ?) Several years ago I was in contact with Edward Walter Cavell (b 1929) who had completed an extensive listing of his male Cavell line starting with Robert Cavell (d 1581) down through 16 generations. Most of which were born and /or lived in Deal. Are you aware of Edward Walter Cavell and his research ? His contact details were: Edward Walter Cavell (wife Heather) 36 Kingsway Road, Burnham on Sea, Somerset, TA8 ET, England His phone number at that time was - 01278.788689 We were led to Edward after a phone call from his sister, Kathleen Bailey (nee Cavell) who is in Victoria Australia. She had spotted my notice in a local Melbourne newspaper looking for relatives and/or anyone who had knowledge of my great grandmother, Annabella Rosa Cavell (b 1865). My elder daughter Pippa Jane Wilson, had visited Edward at his home in Somerset in 1997 and while there he presented her with a copy of his family tree chart. While his Cavells were not easily/not readily connected to Annabella Rosa's Cavells, the amount of work that he had put into his research was remarkable. Hope this may be of some assistance. Best wishes, John Wilson, Sassafras, Victoria, Australia
