HAYES (b. 1885, Ind. Terr. or TX, d. 1968, Ventura Co.) and EMMA TREECE HAYES (b. 1887 in AR, d. 1962, Ventura Co.) who came to Ventura Co. from Texas about 1916.Walter was an "electrical worker." They lived on Mesa Dr. in Meiners Oaks. They had four sons. Eldest son WILBURN E. HAYES (b. 1910, d.1979, Ventura Co.) married HELEN. They had at least two children who probably attended Nordhof High School in the 1950's: PATRICIA LOUISE HAYES, (b. abt. 1935) and ROBERT EUGENE HAYES, (b. abt. 1937). They lived on North Blanche St. The other children are: LLOYD F. HAYES, (b. 1913 in TX, d. 1977 in Ventura Co.); JAMES SAGER HAYES, (b. 1916 in CA, d. 1968, Ventura Co., CA); & LEWIS E. HAYES, (b. 1921, Ventura Co., CA, d. 1942 in WW2.) The younger boys probably attended Ventura High School in the 1930's. Any help appreciated. babscook@attbi.com
