They answered a big question, who his parents were. Now I know where he fits in the Charlebois family. Paul must have been a colorful character and liked to embelish things because his bio is full of holes. For one thing, he was older than he claimed to be. Both the census info and his obituary indicated he was born about 1850. His parents had a son named Pierre Paul that was born December 07, 1844. I think this is our Paul. Besides, he couldn't have been born in 1850 because his mother died March 14, 1848 four days after giving birth to his sister Julie Odile Charlebois. The part about his father dying at an early age is wrong too because his father died April 10, 1884. His father actually married twice more after Paul's mother died and had a total of 18 children between his three wives. The Bio also says his grandfather, Joseph, was born in France. He was actually born October 19, 1774 in Quebec and was a third generation Charlebois to be born in Quebec. It was actually Joseph's g-grandfather that was born in France Still it made for some interesting reading and I really appreciate your sending it. Dave
