The county recorder's website says that you need the date of the event to get a vital records certificate. I only know approximate dates, within a few years, and am trying to find exact dates. How can I do that? I am looking for Elizabeth Rehart (a.k.a. Patty Elizabeth), wife of Joseph Rehart, died around 1874. They lived in the Ventura area. I am also looking for Earl Rehart, son of Jacob and Mollie (a.k.a. Mary Ann) Rehart. He was born about 1887 (between 1886 and 1891, but probably before 1890). This child died as a small child when he ate poison from under the porch. The family lived either in Santa Paula, or up the mountain between Fillmore and Piru (Hopper Ranch). Any help in where I should look for this information would be appreciated. Thank you.
