They settled in Newark NJ. After learning the brick laying trade, James traveled to both South and Central America, and eventually ended up in Ventura County. He died Dec 8, 1910 in Montalvo CA. I am trying to learn more about him, and his family of 7 children. Two of his sons married Valentine girls, and a grand-daughter married an Argabrite, so I am also interested in those surnames.
