Hi folks, I have just obtained the birth certificate of my grandmother, Ellen Elizabeth (Nellie) Cave. She was born 11 Dec 1896 in Horwich, Bolton, Lancashire, the daughter of John Richard Cave and Minnie Cave, (formerly Chesterton). John and Minnie were married in Nottingham in 1890, I believe (from FreeBMD) There is a John R. Cave in the 1881 census, (father Richard), and there is a birth for John Richard Cave in FREEBMD for 1870, which seems to match. If anyone can add anything to the above, I'd be most interested.
