Eliza died 20 Nov 1895 in Manning, Iowa. One source lists her parents as William and Hannah Cave. The family bible says her father (perhaps it is grandfather?) was Sir Archabald Cave, physician to Queen Victoria and knighted by her. Family stories say her family was connected with royalty and she was disowned when she married a commoner. I certainly would appreciate any information you may have and I do have photos of Eliza and David Hamer.
