Others in this descendant line appear to have migrated from Boone County Kentucky to Boone County Missouri. His parents were married 8-9-1827 in Boone County, Missouri. According to the will of his grandmother, Frances Brent WILLIAMS, his mother died prior to March of 1843. Haden CAVE was the second husband of Ann Eliza WILLIAMS. Her first husband was James COLLINS who died in August of 1827 in Boone County, Missouri. Alonzo had a sister, Mary Frances.I have a copy of the will of Frances Brent WILLIAMS who died in Boone County on 5 March 1843. In it, she mentions Alonzo CAVE and says that she bequeaths no more to him than she already has given him. I'm delighted to hear from you as I have no record of the descendants of Alonzo CAVE.I have a rich and varied account of this family, partly because they were of the first group of Kentuckians to emigrate from the Bluegrass to central Missouri; but most interestingly because my g-g grandfather, John Brent WILLIAMS ( brother of Ann Eliza Williams CAVE) was a pioneer journalist who left a detailed record of this family.This is just a quick message to welcome you into a small but very importantcentral Missouri family.
