As found in the Kewanee Illinois Public Library by Thomas W. Rogers on November 8, 1999 in his continued efforts to find the Caves historical information for his family tree research project. Continued Research is required to learn more about the information below, and what relationship this James Caves had to our Caves line. South Palmyra Township Macoupin, County, Illinois Mill erected near present town of Palmyra by James Caves in 1835. It was run by horses & oxen, and was called "The Sweep Mill". It was certainly a great improvement over the first Hand Mill built by Andrew Russel in 1829. Has anyone found who this James Caves parents are? Thomas
