Hello I'd like you to take a look at the third generation of Eakins below, where my grandfather's sister, Hetti Rosetta Caves married Charles Eakins. Just like her brother, my grandfather, Martie W. Caves named one of his sons Ernest Eugene Caves, he also named a daughter Mabel Caves, and his daughter Norma who married a Ralf Floyd. The names Ernest, Hettie, Martie, Martin, Mabel, and Donald are found in this Cave family line. Remember, Martie W. Caves father, Merritt H. Cave, added the "s" to the family name.
