Before Leicester, my ancestors Peter de Cave , b. 1245? and Joan Elena Bromflete, b. 1250, were in Yorkshire; their son Alexander married Joan De Mauley, from a better-known family. My first Leicester Cave was John, b. about 1564 in Pickwell; he married (1) Magdalena Armyne and (2) Elizabeth Evertby. I am descended from their son, the Rev.
