Charleston Daily Mail Charleston, WV December 28, 1998 Clarence N. Cosby BECKLEY -- Clarence N. Cosby, 82, of Beckley died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Raleigh General Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired miner, a former employee of the Elks Lodge and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving: wife, Thelma Bradshaw Cosby; daughters, Barbara C. Bright of Riverdale, Md., Regina D. Hardin of Beckley; brother, James Cosby of Beckley; sisters, Ollie Martin of Greentown, Mary Fox of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ritchie-Johnson Funeral Home, Beckley, with the Rev. Abner Wright officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
