PURPOSE The CAUSBY-L Mailing List is an e-mail discussion list for genealogical research of the CAUSBY family anywhere. TWO VERSIONS TO CHOOSE FROM: CAUSBY-L is for individual messages to be delivered to your e-mail address. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, you will receive a copy of the message. To subscribe send an e-mail message to: CAUSBY-L-request@rootsweb.com with one word in the body of the message: subscribe CAUSBY-D is for a digest of several accumulated messages to be delivered to your email address. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, they are put into a digest to be delivered later. The digest is generated approximately once a day and delivered to digest subscribers. This option is handy for people who don't want multiple messages to accumulate in their mail box. Keepin in mind that the digest may not be generated until a certain volume of notes is reached. Since the volume on the CAUSBY list is low, you may not receive a digest for several days. When it runs across your signature file it gets a bit confused and will send you a message stating something like 'Do not recognize command 'Jones'. If you have a file that you think folks might be interested in receiving, post a note to the list asking for people to contact you directly if they are interested in receiving the file. Some people do not have systems which can handle file attachments and it can wreak havoc with those systems. b. I am trying to compile a "CAUSBY MOST WANTED LIST". Please post information on your most wanted CAUSBY ancestor. I will keep a compilation of this information and periodically post to the entire list.
