    1. [CAUSBY-L] Causbie/Cosby query

    3. I sent this to the wrong address possibly so I'm sending it again. Washington Jackson Causbie is my husband's great grandfather also. The 1850 census lists Ann Cosby as head of household but her husband is also listed in the census as Josiah Cosby. Possibly, Ann's maiden name was Crunk because of census record of 1860 of S.M. Causbie's household in Belfast, Marshall County, Tennessee where Nancy Crunk is listed as living with him and his family. Her age indicates a relationship with one of the two parents. I'm going to say it was S.M.'s grandmother on his mother's side. I am in touch with numerous members of both brothers' families and would love to share with you. Glad to get a bite on the list!
